Chinese Painting and Calligraphy
At Wills Quills, we are fortunate to have the services of one of the finest experts in Chinese painting and calligraphy, Mr. Franz (Chi Lik) Cheung.
Having graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Franz has had over 20 years experience in teaching art and design, specialising in historical periods and school styles of Chinese artifacts. He is also a practising artist and tutor of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Franz's works have been on display at many exhibitions over the years, including the Annual International Calligraphy Exchange and Chatswood's Annual Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition.
Franz has served as the President of the Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society (AOCS) since 2006 and a tutor at the New South Wales Art Gallery.
Franz currently teaches Chinese calligraphy and Chinese painting courses at Macquarie University. He also conducts private tuition for these subjects.
Over the years Franz has been commissioned for many private works.
